About
Yo!
My name is Rebecca. And in case you didn’t read the blog title, I am a practicing Roman Catholic currently attending film school.
The funny thing is, I don’t make what are known as “Christian movies.” I write and make movies from my heart that speak to me—movies about love, family, relationships, and humanity. If you look at the lower right hand corner of the blog banner, you’ll notice a scripture notation from the Book of the Prophet Jeremiah:
“If I say I will not mention him or speak any more in His name, then within me there is something like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I am weary with holding it in and I cannot.”
I may not make “Christian movies,” but one of the first things I learned after stepping onto campus is that if God is in me, He is in everything I do. This blog is about documenting my journey to understanding and living this sovereign truth faithfully and without fear in an industry that has turned away from the Lord.
So take a look around, and I hope you enjoy my blog. Feel free to shoot me an email. (I’m really nice, I swear.)
Pax Christi, Rebecca.

Rebecca,
May 7th, 2008 at 3:05 pmJust found your website. I look forward to reading more! It is encouraging to see an artist who not only listens to, but works to enact what the Church teaches about communication, art, and film.
Hi!
I love your Website. It’s great. I’m from Saint Paul, Minnesota, so a thousand miles away from where any significant movies are made, but I still a movie addict. Keep on! I’m so excited to hear more about your WYD experience. I so wish I could have gone!
All the best!
