Blogging Break: I’m at R.E. Congress.

I’ll be in Anaheim from now until Sunday. Until then, check out some of my blogging friends linked in the sidebar.

PS: If you’re going to Congress, I would highly suggest you don’t miss the Catholic Filmmakers Showcase at which I will be and many other people significantly more famous than me will be too. [...]

This film is playing at the City of Angels Film Festival…I wanna see it. It looks very well edited.

Movie poll of Catholics launched for Oscars

From my email inbox:
With just days to go until the 81st Annual Academy Awards, three UK-based Catholic media partners have launched a poll to find the Catholic community’s all-time top-100 favourite films.
The weekly newspaper The Catholic Herald, on-line movie review magazine Soul Food Cinema and Catholic media retailer St Anthony Communications, have joined forces to discover those films that [...]

Update: NCR has posted a retraction.

Soooooo….I was a little taken aback yesterday to find that the “trailer” for the upcoming “Mary, Mother of Christ” movie had been posted on the National Catholic Register’s website as well as some of the Catholic media blogs.
Given that I am interning at one of the partnering companies …and [...]

I totally saw “Biff” last night!

Las night I attended a special mass for Catholics in the entertainment industry.
Before the mass began, I was whispering to my girlfriend that I recognized an older actor sitting in front of us. I couldn’t remember what his name was, or what movies he had been in, I just remembered that I recognized [...]

More pictures from the Walk For Life.

32,000 strong.

As you already know, I attended the Walk For Life WC last weekend with a group from CU.

High points:
- Taking those first few steps in such a large mass group of people. It felt reminiscent of World Youth Day.
- My girlfriend Rosario and I had signs from 40 Days For Life, one of which had [...]

Guess what?

I’m going to be featured in the National Catholic Register alongside two of my girlfriends. The topic of the article is modesty and young women who work in film and media. There will also be an article about me and Modestia in the spring issue of Faith & Family Magazine. Once I get more info [...]
