My apologies.
I apologize for not blogging these past couple of days, but it’s because I’ve been working like a maniac.
My editor at the newspaper I write for is working on a new book that I am helping to edit and assemble together. It’s a good job that I enjoy (this is the third book I’ve done for him) but it takes up a lot of my time.
Tomorrow should be my first genuinely fun day since I came back home. The good folks over at John Paul the Great Catholic University have invited me to come visit their campus and hang out for a bit.
JP Catholic is one of the newer Catholic colleges that have sprouted up in the last two to three years in response to JP II’s call for a New Evangelization and the need for more authentically Catholic universities. The school has a major in film and media, and has had some of the bigger names in the Catholic film world come down and visit, including Steve McVeety and Eduardo Verastegui. So I’m excited to introduce myself and do some networking.
And of course, tomorrow is May 16th, the opening of the new Chronicles of Narnia movie. After my visit, my mom and I are going to go see the film, and I’ll publish a review of the movie as well as some other reviews I’ve been meaning to put up too. Another vlog episode will be posted sometime next week, as well as the fourth installment of the “Rumor has it” thread.
Pax Christi, Rebecca.
